When you apply for that job, you will not wear tatty old clothes, you will not
scowl, you won't turn up late. You will talk happily and confidently of your
abilities and your achievements. That's not competitiveness. That's being
'you', and being careful not to run yourself down...
When I conducted job interviews, I was always wary of the bright and ambitious
candidate overselling him/herself... Give me the quietly honest one, every
time!
