WARNING - I've got my serious head on at the moment !! (It does happen now
& again !!)

I saw this on another list & have just spent a good hour touring the
battlefields etc. It's absolutely fascinating.

I found a little picture of the Loos cemetery, where my grandad's cousin is
commemorated on the memorial there. He was in the 1st Btn,Welsh Regiment &
was only 18 when he was killed.

Just a thought - I don't suppose any of you know how/why a lad from Kent
ended up in a Welsh Regt. do you ?
