That's true, Guy.
It certainly exists over here in Canada and in the US - and the main
determinant is money and the status money can buy! Anyone who says it does
not exist any longer is dreaming!
Doesn't bother me particularly - its one of those things I can't change so I
I am amazed that anyone can possibly think that any society can survive
without a class system it can't.
Some may pretend not to have a class system but the hierarchy is still
there under a different name, this system even extends to the animal
kingdom where it is called a pecking order.
