... and what's this? Here comes Lizzie pushing a strange barrow-like affair
across the green to the oak tree. Delicious smells reach Trivvie noses. This
is Lizzie's new toy ... the Cold-weather Goodies Dispenser. On top, a
chestnut roaster and cocoa-urn with push-button dispensers for rum,
creme-de-menthe and other additives (not forgetting marsh-mallows) ...and
beneath, a hot cupboard holds meat pies, and trays of roast potatoes with
gravy to dunk them in. The Trivvies take off their mittens and tuck in,
chatting together and watching the visiting winter birds son the sea-shore
below the green. Pass the salt please Liz ... thanks!
