Johno, my heart was racing as well.

Di, I think the neighbor was dreadful and should have been kind and
understanding to you.

Everyone of my kids has been hurt in my keeping..Angel was so teeny and so
inclined

to climbing; she used to climb to the top of swing sets.the part the swings
hang from and

walk across like a tight rope. Never hurt herself. But one day she fell
off her push scooter.

an inch or two off the ground and pulled her nose right off her face. It
was a mess. We

took her to the ER and luckily got a doctor from Brussels who had to do a
residency etc in

order to practice here. He was a plastic surgeon. A woman in full hunt
gear (jodhpurs, etc.)

lounged in the doorway watching. The doctor sharply reprimanded her, pushed
her away

from the door and slammed it in her face. Angel just has a tiny little
dent/line between her

nostrils.



Prams:



My sister was living in Madrid Spain and I was there with our mother and
the three of us were

walking down a street in Madrid when a "stray" pram with baby came rolling
down the street

headed for traffic. I grabbed the pram and was turning it around when the
Madrileno mother

came flying at me, yelling in Spanish. I guess she thought I was stealing
either baby or pram

or both..Margie Therese in her gentle way and fluent Spanish got things
smoothed out and I

wasn't hauled off to the pokey.



Happy new year of your life to Jean and Linda. Hope they will be the best
ones yet, until the

next.



Liz, loved your romantic story.



Lizzie, I loved yours also. You know Neil will be ever at your side.



I talked to my doctor yesterday. He will release me for work..with large
restrictions. He says

my heart is in drastic shape and I can't be lifting anything. So goodbye to
my job doing stock,

which I enjoyed and had actually requested.



Hugs to all you darling trivvies. I'm on my to join Johno on the bench.I
have a hot mulled cider..
