Below is a letter I've received from Roy's step daughter ...

Roy only joined the Trivvies in March, but he did post; he did introduce
himself to us all ... It must be an awful shock for his wife Bev & for Jo
too I expect ... I have no idea how old he was; in fact I know nothing more
about him other than what he wrote - that he was originally from Swindon, &
emigrated to Australia ...

Hi, my name is Josephine and I am the step daughter of Roy Tyler.I am writing to you all at this time to let you know that on Wednesday 14th of April, Roy passed away suddenly.He was with his wife, Bev at the time and suffered no pain.I am sorry to be the one to give you this news bit my mum is not up to it as you can imagine.
