Hi Claire,

I think I got my love of motor racing from my father, my parents often used
to take me along to see the speedway when I was a kid, usually at Wimbledon
in London, for years we went there, if the motor racing was on the TV my
father would be sitting there watching it and so would I be, my father also
had a friend who used to race motorbikes, I don't remember much about him I
was only very young at the time, I can remember however standing in some
very muddy field in the pouring rain watching these motorbikes going round
and round and I still remember the noise and the smell of them, I must of
been about 6 or 7 then, all great fun.
