Everything I sent yesterday was returned to me with a note that the
addy had fatal errors :-(

:-)) Working? And taking care of some business. And spending the
occasional day in the library.

Yesterday I took some time to cut back the rose bushes in front of my
apartment as they had grown to a height to obscure my windows there.
There is a hummingbird feeder hanging from the underside of the awning,
just above the bushes. I had bent down to gather some cuttings and on
rising found myself face to face with a little bird - it hovered there
about eight inches from my eyes - about forehead high. I was
transfixed. Not sure if it was greeting me or warning me away from its
"flower." They make squeaking sorts of chirps and the encounter
lasted for nearly half a minute (seemed much longer that I stood
motionless)
Made my day.

Hot here in Utah now but none of the hundred degree days that we had
last year in July in Salt Lake (think it was fourteen days of over a
hundred degrees). Such a relief.
