thanks to everyone for all your support - it makes me feel better....
which is good as I have a new challenge to face - not an unexpected one
but still. Just spoken with the ex - and he is feeling better, and will
be sent home today or tomorrow, but is afraid to be alone for the first
few days, specially as so many of us are going to be away the first week
or so, and would like to come and stay here.... I'll have to see what
Jacqui thinks as she would be alone with it for this weekend, but I am
not too thrilled. All I do know is that I have no way to say no - and
still to be able to live with myself. he's feeling old and vulnerable,
and none of the other kids have anyone around during the day , nor any
more space than I do.

Makes me want to say a bad word or two - but instead I'll go out and run
an errand to blow off steam...

Which will put me further behind in work...

Ah well, such is life I guess
