Santa/Dads are clever. LOL
DiDi
For some reason I have just received the Trivvies mail for Dec. 22, on Dec.
26th, ah well.
I remember when we lived in my Grandparents house, I can't remember by
brothers being around so I must have been about 4 or 5, and I was so excited
going to bed Christmas Eve. I woke to a bang on the roof, and was convinced
Santa and his sleigh had landed, and as the door opened I could hardly bear
it, and peaked out from under the covers, and in came Santa with my
stocking. I didn't dare look any further and went to sleep. I do remember
that Santa had on a green coat, but that really didn't take on much
significance, or the fact that my Dad had a green dressing gown until years
later when it dawned on me.
Still don't know how he managed the bang on the roof though!!

Hi Friends,
Does anyone on this list remember staying up to see Father Christmas come, I
never did this - you see I was frightened of him!!
I use to wake up at 3.00am to see what he had bought me though!! I used to
go into Mum and Dad's bedroom and wake them up, then I used to sit in their
bed undoing my presents that they kept on top of the wardrobe!!
Have any of you got a story like this to tell?
Diane
