I am reading the first of a series of four novels.

Elizabeth Elgin: I'll Bring you buttercups.

Usual story of a family set at the start of the first world war. It is very
slow, or perhaps it is me because I don't do much reading at the moment.
Not as "earthy" as Catherine Cookson novels, but if you like historical
family saga's it is not too bad.
