Acquittal of a Man charged with Wife Murder.
At Glamorgan Assizes, on Friday, before Mr. Justice GRANTHAM, William LEWIS 46, carpenter, was charged with the murder of his wife at Cardiff. The allegation was that the prisoner in a fit of temper, kicked his wife because she had been out drinking all day and neglected her children and home. The evidence showed that she was a woman of drunken habits, and that the prisoner had done all in his power to reform her. He was found not guilty, and was discharged.
