Heard from a friend in France saying they have had more rain than ever
before, and she thinks the polar ice caps are melting. Reminds me to look
on the weather map online to see where the pack ice is just now - usually
it is in the Greenland Strait between western Iceland and Greenland, but
far enough north it doesn't get in the way of the fishing fleet, errant
Viking vessels of discovery, or water skiiers. We shall just see.
Meanwhile, how's the snow depth in Drumochter Pass just now? I haven't had
the usual complaints from friends on either side of it, so even Scotland
must have less snow than usual. So far.
