Pat....I am so sorry that you were left. But on the other hand it might
be better to be alone than with someone who doesn't want to be there.
This might be a good time to enjoy the quiet and read some books you
have wanted to read. Being alone isn't all that bad....just
different....and you might even learn to love it.

I know how frightening it can be to be on your own after all this time.
My mother was widowed last June after having been married for 64 years
and I know it was frightening for her at first but she is adapting quite
well.
