Och aye - great idea, Helen - and if you could please start it close to this end of Iceland, please!!! I am feeding the huge cat (half Siamese with blue eyes, and half puma, judging by coloration and size) who stayed home when two friends went off to Crete on vacation, but they took the doggie - an Irish-born German shepherd - to a doggie hotel near Reykjavik, meaning poor Smokey had to endure a 12-hour ride (including stops for this and that) for the pleasure of being looked after by strangers. I'd have looked after him here, but my daily schedule and his p....ing needs don't work out too well. So a doggie hotel that is closer would be wondrous. For him and for his people. You would be warmly received, Dave, and you could even mow grass over here in a nicely Scottish drizzle or mizzle!!
