As long as we're asking computer questions, anyone here who can tell me
(offlist would probably be best) how I could possibly have lost the
right to look at any secure sites? All I did was: While doing my
regular updates to my Anti-Virus and Security software, Norton Internet
Security said I was disabled and even with supervisor rights I couldn't
enable it, so I looked at the Symantec site to see if they could tell me
why. The troubleshooting section said I might be missing a file, so I
looked where it told me to look, and sure enough the file isn't there.
But I didn't change anything. I just looked. Later I did a defrag on
the hard drive, which shouldn't have any bearing on anything. Now I
can't get to ANY site that starts with https rather than http. H E L P
?????
And Thanks, SharonW
