Muff: I was elated to read your beloved Brosi is back. I was really
'feeling' for you since I have two
beloveds of my own. One is going on 18 years old and, at this point, every
day now is a gift from God.
The other, Nicky, is 7 and I call him my "gentle giant". But,
unfortunately, he was born with the genes
of a 'super hunter' no matter how much I feed him. He loves to sneak in
with his 'treasures' and stash
them under my bed which has caused many moments of alarm. He, also, is the
only cat I have ever
owned who brings me bird nests!!!!! The last nest I found under my bed was
a Bushtit nest which is
a hanging gourd-shaped nest with a side entrance near the top, made of soft
plant wool and lichens.
It now sits, with honor, on a shelf in my living room.

It won't take long for you to fatten up Brosi. I agree with you that she
has been through some kind
of trauma but TLC takes care of many things. As you can see, your loss of
Brosi really 'pushed' my
buttons'. :-) Hope you don't mind my diatribe.
