Hi All

My husband also born in Detroit, in 1941 is left handed and his grandparents
tried to force him to change, same results. His penmanship is atrocious.

However my mother born is England in 1921 raised in Detroit from the age of 2
and a leftie has beautiful handwriting as does my daughter, but then granny
had to teach her to write.

I do seem to remember reading somewhere that it was thought that the left hand
belonged to the devil.
