Did you find out anything about the goldfields yet? There used to be a site
in Australia where you could actually see some of the papers that the miners
had filled out, making claims, and what areas they were mining. I cannot
remember where the site was though.
Australia used to have a searchable place with what looked like names from
parish records but they had to take it offline, for financial reasons I
think.
Does anyone know if this site will come back again?
