South Bowenfels is a couple of minutes drive out of Lithgow
along the Great Western Highway towards Sydney (ie about
South-West of the city centre).

(Old) Bowenfels is on the North-West edge of Lithgow (also on
the Great Western Highway) and has a station on the Great
Western Railway(no trains stop there anymore). It was
originally one of five villages in the valley that have
now merged to become the City of Lithgow.

Lithgow is just west of the Blue Mountains and is
about 2 hours drive from Sydney.
