The name Rhine was used for a number of locations in South Australia. Most
of these place names were changed during World War I to de-germanise South
Australian names.
South Rhine River became the River Marne
Hundred of South Rhine became the Hundred of Jutland
Rhine River retained its name
North Rhine River became the River Somme
Rhine Hill became Mons
Rhine Villa became Cambrai
Rhine Park became Kongolia
Mr Clear, Mt Cleasant or Yalunga dont appear in "Whats in a Name?
Nomenclature of South Australia by Rodney Cockburn. I will keep looking.
