Hi Folks,

I'm looking for the marriage of a bloke called Henry George JACKSON.

He enlisted in the Army Medical Corp in 1902, at which time he gave his
next of kin as his sister, Mrs Henry, of the same address as his own,
ie, Bank St, Ascot Vale.

In 1903 I found him in the Electoral Roll in Ascot Vale, along with
Ellen Jackson, home duties. I'm not entirely certain whther this Ellen
is a wife or the sister (perhaps "Mrs Henry" was an error on his
Attestation papers?) Volunteers were expected to be single, and as
Jackson was 31 at enlistment, it is possible that he already was
married, and "Mrs Henry" was his wife.

Are there any children born to Henry George Jackson around Ascot Vale,
Moonee Ponds, Essendon in the 1890s or 1900s?

With thanks

Lenore Frost
Essendon, Vic
