I'm learning the Search function (very slowly) and can do simple things with
a single search variable but I'm stumped when I try to do discrete searches.
An example: I want to find all persons born in North Carolina. The steps I
follow are 1) click on Search; 2) Click on Events screen; 3) With the drop
down window, select Birth as the event to search for; 4) Enter North
Carolina as the Place. The output I get is a list of all people who have
any Event occurring in North Carolina. What am I leaving out.

Question: The Query Results screen that opens with the results of a search
is a powerful tool - great to put it side by side with my data screens and
work through the people. I note that until I do another search (query?) the
contents of the queries do not change. How can I call the Query Results
screen up again at a later time?
