Hi Linda and CheriC,

I believe this behaviour of the annotation is a glitch. First, the position of
the exclude-box leads you to believe that it will only affect the annotation
and not the citation as a whole. Second, the helpfile says this about
annotations and the exclude box:
"Annotation: The Annotation can be any comments that you want to appear in the
citation after the formatted part.
Exclude Annotation check box: When checked, the Annotation will not be
included in output reports. This is useful when the annotation is lengthy and
the report you are generating doesn't require it, or when you want to use the
Annotation box to record your personal thoughts that are not intended for
output."
