Hi Bill,
Thanks for your reply and for pointing out how you can switch off
witnesses in reports, but one thing is puzzling me, wouldn't everyone who
uses Witnesses include [WW] or
> [WWR] in their template codes? Otherwise they end up with the list of
witnesses, who have no roles, at the end of Primary individual's sentence.
As no one else has queried this I think I must have missed something very
obvious <g>
Going back to the Family Group Report that I'm trying produce, can you
think of any way that I can include Birth Events in an Event Group without
the Childbirth Events appearing as additional Births for the parents? What
I'm looking for is the Basic BMDB report with the addition of Baptism and
Employment for all individuals in a family. Again I'm sorry if the answer is
obvious.
Many thanks to everyone who answered my query, you've given me much food
for thought, not that I'm capable of much thought at the moment having spent
the last couple of days moving boxes and beds from one place to another. My
daughter, who is coming back to live here for a while, arrived a fortnight
ago with the accumulated possessions of four years of university and one
year of teaching. She filled one bedroom and the hall and promptly left for
a holiday in Thailand. As my youngest son had only just returned from his
first year at University with an almost equal number of boxes, the house is
in chaos and I'm exhausted <g>
