If you enter the ages yourself in all of the places, then there shouldn't be
a problem because you will get the age you have added there. I'd opt for
codes for the parents of the primary person, parents of the spouse, and
parents of other before I'd find need for a different age variable.
What you are saying is that (1) you have entered hard coded ages for every
person for every event, and (2) where you have, you would like to be able to
control their output and have only these display whereas auto calculated
text you would opt not to have displayed. Guess the option is that you are
going to have to enter your own ages every place that you can. <g>

Hi CheriC,
Because there is a major difference between them. I prefer manually entered
ages (provided through sources) only for reports, not calculated ones. And
if
an age differs from the calculated one, maybe the age could be followid with
the word "sic"?
