Hi Andrew,
Regarding deleting Subtype Templates: Since clicking on any field in the row
puts you in Edit mode for the field, there does not appear to be a way to
select the entire record for deletion. However, there are two techniques you
can use to select the entire line and delete the entry:
1. Without any field selected in the target row, place cursor OVER the
target row and right click. Select Delete.
2. If a field in the row is selected and in Edit mode, right click over the
very narrow white space between the left edge of the window and the subtype
label of the target row. Select Delete.

Subject: [GENBOX] Templates Queries
Having a quick play with the Event Templates, I have created new
subtypes on the Event Templates > Templates screen. How do I get rid of
the unwanted ones? 'Delete' doesn't do it. Deleting every character from
the line has no effect, the subtype is restored as soon as you leave the
screen.
On the related subject of templates, is there a means of writing a
template so that it is different depending on the living status of the
principal. For example:-
"He is an uncle of Andrew Hough"
or
"He was an uncle of Andrew Hough"
(I'm aware of the problems over defining whether someone is living or
not. I have a many times great uncle who according to GB is still alive,
despite being married in the eighteenth century.)
Regards
Andrew
