Bill - But there is NO citation to the Local Site, just to the event as a
whole in the instances to which I am referring and provided examples
(Dimmick Ellington Casper). Surety is a moot point for me because I don't
use it.

Additionally, Bill, here is an example of an event where only the local site
has a citation. Note: There is no double preposition and the reference
number appears at the end of the entire place string. Perhaps this is
reflective of the change to "merge all citations" option that I modified for
the preview report??? Sentence preview > Thomas Dimic Casper was buried in
Highland Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Wyandotte Co., Kansas.1 Only the name
of the cemetery has the citation attached to it.

I've also noticed that a lot of my events that formerly had sentences, no
longer do. When you open up the event, the sentence selector says "custom,"
but no sentence appears at all to the right of it.

My head is spinning!

Cheri

Hi Cheri,

I believe the two-preposition format appears when there is a source citation
on the local site that is not on the higher place, so that the footnote
number can be placed correctly after just the local site portion. If the
place name was shown as a whole with the footnote appearing after the higher
place, it would suggest that the referenced source named the entire place as
shown.

Also, if the surety levels differ between the local site and the higher
place, the place name may appear in this two-part format, so that any
qualifiers, such as "perhaps" or "probably", have a place to go.
