Sherry - My progress was FTM, TMG, Legacy, TMG, and finally GenBox. I've
dabbled with a variety of others, including some that most people have
probably never heard of. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE GenBox over any program that
I've used. I can't envision ever going to anything else. GenBox has
absolutely the best sourcing capabilities of *any* program, bar none. The
user list is friendly and helpful, and our developer, Bill Flight, really
listens and responds to what the users want and need.

You can try GenBox for 30 days before you have to make a financial
commitment and I believe that under some circumstances that can be extended
another 30 days for a full test drive. Try it, you will like it.

Subject: [GENBOX] should I switch programs

I am currently a Legacy user (the old standard version) but have been
considering either upgrading to their most current deluxe version or
changing programs altogether. While Legacy is a very user-friendly
program, I often get frustrated when entering my sources. I just toured
the GenBox site and liked what I saw. Are there any previous Legacy
users on this list that could comment on their use of GenBox? Years and
years ago, when I first caught the genealogy bug, I started with PAF.
Later I switched (briefly) to Family Tree and then I switched once again
to TMG. Somewhere along the way, someone introduced me to Legacy so once
again I jumped ship. Before I shell out more $$, I would like to hear a
few words of encouragement from others that GenBox is the way to go.
