I know you can do that, but
a) it's another thing to remember and I think the reports are already a nightmare to format -unlinking the RT from the Project is more simple and
b) I don't necessarily want to exclude all the completed searches. Sometimes, although I have completed my search on one particular source it might not have solved my RT and more searches are necessary. Then I like to be able to print off all the searches regardless of their completed status so by unlinking from the Project I can have just the RTs that I want regardless of whether the search completed is filled in or not.
But, as with most things in GB, there are so many alternatives to more or less achieve the same thing that we probably all choose slightly differently but find a way that works for us. Although, in respect of reports at the moment, I doubt if it is possible to get anything useable without a great deal of data checking and editing.
