I made my enquiry at a point in which I was importing a number of GEDCOM
files. I keep all my genealogy stuff on my F: drive, but every time I
did File-Import-Gedcom it was opening a window in My Documents, and I'd
have to navigate back to F:\GEDCOMS. Just a bit of an annoyance, really.

Now, however, for some reason File-Import-Gedcoms IS opening in
F:\GEDCOMS. Dunno why.
