Hi Pat,
When you press F1 in the "Insert Field Code Dialog", you will get help on
what you can do with that dialog.
The help file also contains a chapter on Sentence Templates (in the section
"Customizing Genbox"). At the end of the help file is a "Sentence Template
Code Reference". Printing out that Reference-page might be handy when you
are editing templates.
But the best method I think in getting a full understanding of the codes,
including the additional options and parameters, is experimenting with it
and viewing the results. Especially when you are dealing with "directional
events" or when the correct sentence depends on the gender of the current
Primary Individual.
