Kathy,
I did read the original post and I still stand by my comments. Even I have
made errors during data input and had to back out (delete) the data,
followed by checking and correcting links. I certainly don't blame Genbox
for the wrong links. Until Shelley's problem can be examined to determine
what information and links the database contains, stating that Genbox is at
fault is premature.
Best,
Denise

That's just plain insulting, Denise, and not the least bit helpful. It isn't
even possible for a user to create a tick mark in the Source column of the
Summary tab, so this couldn't possibly be "human error."
As Shelley explained in her original email (did you actually read it?),
"I've no idea how long they've been missing or if I might have accidentally
deleted them some time. Either way, I shouldn't see a source indicator on
one tab and nothing on another."
I've had the exact same experience: tick marks appear in the Source column
of the Summary tab, but no citation exists for the Event.
As an example, I have one individual with 10 childbirth events. All have
tick marks in the Source column, but none have citations for the childbirth
event. It's conceivable that at some time I entered citations for their
births, but I can't remember if I did. Since all were baptized in the same
church, they all would have used the same source for the birth information.
I am absolutely positively certain beyond the shadow of a doubt, however,
that if I entered those citations, I DID NOT delete them and DID NOT delete
the source.
In any case, as Shelley already said, one "shouldn't see a source indicator
on one tab and nothing on another." That's a BUG, not "human error."
