Hi Stef,
Your replies to the mailing-list are fine.
Your residencies are imported as events so you should be able to
display them on a chart.
The problem is probably that the residencies are imported for the
individual, and not as an event for a couple/family. Default is
probably that it will only include "family-events" on the chart you
chose (the event should apply to both individuals, not just one of
them)
What happens when you create a Everyone > Blue chart (or a Related
Basic Chart)? Don't forget to include the Residency on the Content-tab
