The 1831 census was a headcount and names of individuals and heads of
families were not officially recorded. The 1841 census is the first
where that occurred.
Having said that, a number of the 1831 enumerators did keep their own
private records of who was where, and some of these have survived. The
Gibson Guide "Local Census Listings 1522-1930" is probably your best
source for what exists.
As far as Bucks goes there is no surviving data for Aylesbury, just for
Princes Risborough. Bucks also has what amounts to a census of males
aged 16-60 for the year 1798. This shows 27 SPENCERs in the county, not
surprisingly strung out over it, with one cluster in the
Wycombe/Marlow/Wooburn/Taplow area and another in the Newport
Pagnell/Olney area. If you are interested in that in database format,
