I always trace the matrillineal descents in my direct line, but I do not
trace each female in each line in my ancestral chart; for that matter,
do I trace each fraternal line. I rather stick with my direct lines and
that is enough--I have to get those straight before I start on ALL the
indirect lines. i.e. I have all my father' s & mother's siblings and
their families, but I did not trace all of my uncles' wives' families--I
think some just get carried away and that's fine for those you want to!
