Not in any bishops registers I have seen. They usually just list
ordinations in groups by Acolytes:, Sub-deacons:, Deacons: and Priests
usually giving their hometown or religious house. Occasionally you get a
little more eg on 5th March 1463 when there was an ordination at Wells
Cathedral you get a lovely entry under sub-deacons:-
Thomas Ewley of Worcester Diocese Admitted by the Bishop's Grace, the
rector of Beckyngton having undertaken to render him capable before he
comes to take further orders.
