Has anyone come across a William Whittle CLARK(E), my
wifes grandfather, born in 1880-90 (probably in East London)
to Caroline FOWLER (unmarried - later married a William
Clark(e) - William Whittle took his name)
He married Susan Horlock in 1915, left her in 1930ish and has
not been heard of since. He is certainly dead by now but we
are unable to find death cert. at FRO.
He may have emigrated or changed his name.
Any information gratefully received.
