Possibly your Emma Skinner: 1851 census for Devon, as a visitor at the
home of Robert & Sarah TRACE of Sidwell St, Exeter. Emma's age is given
as 21 yrs, born in Sidmouth, Devon; occupation Lace Maker.
(PRO Ref: HO/107/1868 Folio 273 Page 35)
Several Emma's in the 1881 census in both Exeter & Sidmouth (inc Emma
HEAP, Needle Woman, widow aged 54 yrs) but nothing conclusive.
