If you or someone else is passing Companies House (Holborn?), you can
look in the indexes to wills and administrations, not forgetting that
they are dated according to the grant which can occasionally be a year or
more after the death, although most are in the following few weeks; the
index is free, but sight of, or copying of the documents isn't.
Otherwise as someone else has said, it's a postal query to York.
