Subject: Looking for Mother's Family

I just found this group and I hope someone can help me. I am looking
for my mother's family who came from Huddersfield, England. The only
info I have are my grandparent's names and the name of the ship that
brought them to America. I am at a loss as how to search. The LDS
library did have the ship manifest and they are listed, but I need to go
back farther into history. My mom is elderly and can't remember her
grandparents names.
The people I am searching for are:
Walter Crowther born abt. 1880
Blanche Gertrude Parkin (his wife)
3 children: Ben, Fred, Mary,Jennie
Walter left England in 1913 on the "Dominion"
>From what I understand the city hall where the records were kept burned
down 80plus yrs ago.
Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
