Do you have anything at all in the address book on your computer? Those
would be the ones a certain type of virus would seek out .... but if you
don't use the address book at all then you are safe from that particular
aspect of virus damage. However others use the unread emails in your
Inbox and reply to them. None of which applies to this Foot and Mouth
thing, of course.

My point is that if you are going to post warnings every time you get an
email that is a little out of the usual, or you click on the Reply All
button without understanding what it does, then people will stop
expecting serious warnings from you. It is much better to have either a
book you can refer to when puzzled, or to first consult one of your
knowledgeable friends. Hasty warnings are like crying wolf ... when you
have a genuine one no-one will listen.
