Roy Stockwell's reference to a Flight being delayed Deuteronomy,
prompts the thought that those who suffered the delay would be
unlikely to quote 2 Corinthians 7, verse 16 to the Airline Operator.
However, as an alternative to delays, how about an urgent call for
the car sent to collect King Jehu of Israel, who has arrived
unexpectedly early.
A biblical mondegreen was overheard in the more mundane surroundings
of a London 'Bus in the 1940's. A young child was being given a viva
in religious knowledge by his parent and when he came to the last line
of the 23rd.Psalm, it came forth as; ". . . and I will dwell in the
House of Lords for ever. "

will avoid the locusts.
