Church St Cuthbert's Kirk
The present church was built between 1892 and 1894 on the foundations of at
least six earlier churches, the earliest of which was traditionally an
8th-century Culdee foundation dedicated to St Cuthbert. A fine Georgian
steeple tops a Victorian baroque edifice, with a richly furnished interior.
