Having spent a while on 'ranch' in Venezuela I'm quite prepared to take you
word for the dust and stink
I can't find anything published by you on the subject on the AIO, of course
it could have been before 1957, and nothing on BLPC or LoC so you did no
major write up of it . Unpublished work in the field perhaps or an
interesting 'gap year'.
There were of course several clues as to April 1 nature of the Buffalo Bill
post, in the message header. Compare the following

The Message-ID field is a bit of a give-away isn't it and of course as John
Wynn pointed out there is the 'whois' database that shows the domain is
