Well I do receive lots of it - most of it advertising ancestry.com. And
lots of it is so inaccurate when describing British material that it makes
me cringe.

Well, I don't believe so. The amount of misnformation floating around the
Rootsweb and Ancestry.com lists/sites that would be clearly spotted and
removed by somebody in Britain with knowledge of British genealogical
sources etc is vaste. That way we may be able to guide newbies better and
raise the standard/quality of genealogical research.

Perhaps also we will get rid of the "American bullshit" (if you will excuse
the phrase) and the hype that you get from those folk.
