Hi Renia

Someone has suggested that it was Captain Beaky and at first I thought that
was the programme I was after. However, having done a Google search on that I
am not 100% convinced. The TV programme I am thinking of I am sure was a one
off. I seem to recall the performers stood in a semicircle and I have clear
memories of the cast being fabulous. I thought Keith Michell and others of
similar standard were involved. I am now aware of recordings of "Captain
Beaky and his band" and it cerainly includes Keith Michell and members of the
King's Singers and others. However, the thing that bothers me is that I am
fairly sure that the TV programme I am thinking of had a rather long title
which included a boy's name. I thought it was based on a series of children's
books but I may be mistaken about that. The memories are rather dim.

Does that make sense and ring any bells with anyone?
