Rootsweb admins are able to disagree just as effectively as any other group
of people - but I have never come across any contention regarding the free
availability of the list archives to all. They have alays been freely
available, I can see no possible advantage to keeping them hidden.

The "admin disagreements" referred to are surely those between admins and
subscribers who want to post adverts or partake in on-list rows and trading
of insults.
