That is sadly true, but blame the bureauxcratic little jobsworths who
decided a few years ago that fish and chips wrapped in newspaper was
unhygenic and against some EEC regulation or other.

I must say the only place in America where I've had really good fish
and chips comparable to British ones was on the waterfront in
Seattle, but if you can't get decent fish and chips there where can
you?
