For £7 there are three main choices:

1. Visit the Family Record Centre (FRC) in central London, look up
the details, fill out the form, and pay over the counter.
Certificates normally arrive at your UK postal address within 5 days.

2. Use the General Register Office (GRO) online ordering system at:

http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificate/

You will need plastic and the drawback at present is that certificates
are taking a few weeks to be produced and posted out. You would also
need to lookup the full reference or ask someone on the newsgroup to
do it for you.

3. Send a cheque for £7 payable to the "Superintendent Registrar"
to:

Superintendent Registrar
Council Offices
11-12 Market Hall
DISS
IP22 3JX

Enclose a note asking for a certified copy of the entry of death for
Priscilla Creighton Balfour, date of birth 2 Mar 1906, whose death was
registered in the Depwade registration district in Jun 1992. Also
send a stamped addressed envelope. In most cases the certificate
will arrive by return of post.
